Indie TCG News finally has a proper home on the internet. IndieTCG.net is now live and this is where everything for the indie card game scene is going to live long term. The goal is simple – if you care about independent card games, this is the site you keep bookmarked.

The website is built around the same idea as the YouTube channel and socials. Focus on high quality indie card games. Not random scribbled decks on printer paper. Not low effort homemade stuff. Real projects with real art, real rules, and creators who are actually putting in the work.

Here is what we are doing with IndieTCG.net and what you can expect going forward.

YouTube content with a permanent home

Every time a new video goes up on the Indie TCG News YouTube channel, it will get its own post on the site. That means:

  • Direct links to the video

  • Short write ups and extra context

  • Links to the games mentioned, their sites, and their socials

The goal is to make sure nothing gets buried by the algorithm. If you want to find that one video about a specific game months later, you will be able to come here, search, and actually find it.

Showcasing indie card games

One of the main jobs of this site is to showcase indie card games that deserve attention. You will see:

  • Feature posts that introduce a game, its world, and its core mechanics

  • First look write ups for new or upcoming titles

  • Spotlight posts for creators and studios

If a game looks like it could sit on a shelf next to the big three and not feel out of place, that is the type of project we want to put in front of people.

Playthroughs and honest reviews

Indie TCG News is not here to be a hype machine that blindly praises everything. On the site you will see:

  • Actual playthroughs and session write ups

  • Honest thoughts on what a game does well and where it might struggle

  • Long term impressions once a game has been played a bunch, not just first day takes

The idea is to respect both players and creators. Players deserve real information. Creators deserve feedback that treats their game like a serious release.

Indie TCG events and news

IndieTCG.net will also act as a hub for event and news coverage. That includes:

  • Updates on indie organized play and tournaments where possible

  • News about print runs, reprints, expansions, and major patches

  • Coverage for special events like Indie TCG Direct and the Indie TCG Awards

If you are trying to keep up with what is happening in the indie card game world without chasing a dozen different discords and timelines, this is where you check in.

Merch and creator support

Right now, the merch focus is on custom cups themed around indie games. Over time, this can expand, but the idea is pretty clean. Give creators another way to represent their game and give players a way to support the scene with something physical and actually useful.

As more projects come on board, you will see options tied directly to specific games and events.

Indie TCG Direct and Indie TCG Awards

Two big projects are tied strongly to this site:

  • Indie TCG Direct – a yearly digital showcase that highlights active indie card games with trailers, reveals, and messages from the creators

  • Indie TCG Awards – a yearly awards event that focuses on high quality indie card games and gives them a proper spotlight with categories like Best Artwork and Visual Design, Best Gameplay and more

IndieTCG.net will be the place for lineups, voting, recaps, and follow up posts for both of these.

What this means going forward

This site is meant to grow with the scene. More games, more coverage, more events, and more ways to connect players with creators.

If you are a player who is tired of only seeing the same three logos everywhere, this is for you. If you are a creator who is building a serious indie card game and wants it seen by people who actually care, this is for you too.

IndieTCG.net is live. Bookmark it, share it with your community, and keep an eye on what is coming next in the indie card game world.
