Indie TCG News is all about shining a light on high quality independent card games.
Yeah, the site says TCG, but we cover all card games. Trading card games, expandable card games, one box card games, deck builders, and even digital card games. If it uses cards and it is made by an indie team, it belongs here!
I started Indie TCG News because I am tired of the idea that the only real options are Yu Gi Oh, Magic, or Pokemon, and the rest are hand drawn cards. The indie scene is packed with games that look better, play tighter, and have way more passion behind them. Most people just never see them!
On the site and on the TCG News YouTube channel and X account you will see things like:

News and updates on upcoming releases, Kickstarters, events, and reprints.

Spotlights and first looks at new indie card games that are worth your time.

Honest thoughts and breakdowns of gameplay, art, production, and long term support.

Creator focused content that talks about design, development, and the realities of building an indie TCG.
The goal is simple. Cut through the noise, skip the low effort stuff, and point straight at the games that actually slap.
When we say Indie TCG or ITCG here, we mean games that:

Are made by small teams or independent creators.

Aim for professional level art, rules, and production.

Take their players and their community seriously.
- Non AAA or medium + large teams.
If it looks like a real release, plays like a real release, and the team behind it is putting in the work, on top of it being made by a small or solo team, that is the kind of project we want on this site.
